Centered on the question of authenticity and perception, Yokoyama’s practice examines the shifting relationship between digital image-making, painting, and time. Through works that move between iPad drawings, watercolor studies, and oil painting, the artist constructs layered visual structures in which images continuously evolve through accumulation, transformation, and residue. Group Exhibition 27 Jun - 4 Jul 2026 YIRI Jakarta To celebrate our first anniversary in Jakarta, YIRI ARTS presents the group exhibition Senang Bertemu Kembali (Nice to Meet You Again) on June 27, 2026. Featuring Chen Sung-Chih, Chiu Huai-Hsuan, Hsieh Jung-Wei, Jiang Meng-Si, and Keng Chieh-Sheng, the exhibition reflects on a year of cross-cultural dialogues.
The highlight is Hsieh Jung-Wei’s spatial project Beacon, which treats light as an active medium to trigger perception within an immersive site. Equipped with headlamps, visitors explore a dynamic space where forms appear and vanish with their movements, reconfiguring the relationship between viewer and art. Read more
