Wen Gum Gum (born 1994, Hsinchu) earned her BFA and MFA from Taipei National University of the Arts. Living and working in Taipei, she is an artist, graphic designer, and zine publisher. Her practice spans painting, graphics, and installations, focusing on queer aesthetics and the shaping of social roles through media imagery. Utilizing the humor and absurd narratives of Camp, her work dismantles gender frameworks and challenges habitual viewing mechanisms through distorted bodies.
Selected solo exhibitions include Mind the Mindless at Yáo, Taichung (2025); Of Mice and Women at BACK_Y, Taipei (2023); and Good Will Hunting at FreeS Art Space, Taipei (2022). Her work has been shown in Taipei, Manila, Copenhagen, and Germany. She was a finalist for the CTBC Contemporary Art Award (2025), received sponsorship from the Tianmei Art Foundation, and was awarded the Visual Arts Creation Grant from the National Culture and Arts Foundation.
