Raffael Bader German, b. 1987

Born in 1987 in Leipzig, Germany, where he currently lives and works. He received his Diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts (HGB) in Leipzig in 2019. Having lived in various cities across Germany throughout his upbringing, as well as spending extended periods abroad in Australia, Asia, and Latin America, these geographical shifts have profoundly influenced his practice. Bader’s paintings explore a worldview filled with tensions—elements that he sees as vital in holding our world together.
