The exhibition "Metronome" by Japanese artist Naoya Inose explores the theme of time. On Earth, time flows in a linear manner, and as it does, the timeline of human existence unfolds alongside it.
The journey begins with "Into the Metronome," a work inspired by the cave in Alice in Wonderland. However, this scene carries an air of mystery, projecting an almost "unreal" world. Upon entering the cave, strange visions emerge, leading the viewer into a realm bound by time. Unlike Alice’s Wonderland, which exists beyond conventional logic, this world reflects our society—one that is constantly swayed by the axis of time, questioning what is real and what is illusory. Even the concept of color in painting is constrained by the limits of what we can perceive within this temporal framework.
We invite you to step into the world of "Metronome", where time itself defines the boundaries of perception and experience.
