This exhibition was developed around the idea of presenting landscape paintings in the Museum collection along with specially commissioned interactive installations. Our goal was to prompt meaningful interactions between visitors and these landscape-themed artworks while exploring how artists present the most authentic reality of everyday life with landscapes on canvas.
The exhibition is divided into three themes: Drawing from Nature, Artificial Environments, and Internal Landscapes, exploring art and nature as it has appeared in works produced under the concept of landscape art over different eras, as well as the unique perspectives of artists as they experience landscapes and express their understanding of nature and culture through art. The exhibition includes works in the Museum collection from various periods, and includes both historical and contemporary works, as well as various art forms, to show how different generations of artists have interpreted nature, diversity, and culture through the lens of landscape.
