Lin Yi-Pei has won the 2023 CTBC Painting Prize.
The second "CTBC Painting Prize" is organized by the CTBC Foundation for Arts and Culture. Artists interpret contemporary issues or phenomena through the medium of painting, initiating a dialectic and discussion of contemporary painting.
Artist Lin Yi-Pei sees her creative process as an unfolding book centered on themes of 'emotion,' 'life,' and 'time.' Through her artwork, she delves into the anxieties people grapple with while navigating their worth within relationships today.
The award-winning works will be exhibited at KdMoFA from March 15 to June 9, 2024.
